Subscribing to calendars using iCloud

By not allowing subscriptions on iCloud, Apple forces me to see different data differently depending upon the appliance I am using. Isn't this counter to what iCloud is trying to do (aggregate everything in one place)? Am I missing something?

Is there a way - on a desktop or large screen view - to see ALL calendars in one place?

By all calendars I mean

My daughter's iCloud calendar which she shares with me.

My husband's Google calendar which he shares with me.

My subscribed calendars for holidays, sporting events, school calendars.
