Jan 19, 2012 8:32 AM in response to ejectby Brian Nesse,You can download the Lion Server Admin Tools onto any Lion system and use that system create a NetRestore image of a Lion client. When it's done, simply copy it onto the Snow Leopard server and host it.

Feb 24, 2012 1:14 PM in response to Brian Nesseby gilsurf,I did just this and it does not boot. All settings on 10.6 server are OK, image enabled, etc. It can select the netrestore image, but the boot process goes on for a very long time. Thoughts?

Feb 27, 2012 12:53 PM in response to Brian Nesseby gilsurf,In the end, the issue was how I made the image. I made the image from instructions on another site. Main issue seems to be that I did create image from folder in disk utiltity and then used that in system image utility. What worked in the end was to make an image in SIU directly from the golden master in target disk mode. The image is for the same type of computer, so no need for a generic image. But good tip. Thanks!
