Please be more specific about your problem. Are you not getting any sound from the internal speakers? What happens if you plug a pair of headphones in? Do you get sound then? Is the speaker icon on the menu bar greyed out? Is the problem just in YouTube? Do other audio files work, e.g. MP3 files? What about if you put a CD or DVD in the optical drive? Do you get sound then?

There is no sound coming from the internal spaekers and putting in a pair of headphones does not work either. However other audio files do work such as mp3's. I just went to youtube today and the picture comes but there is no sound. And I'm not sure what you mean when you asked me about the speaker icon in the menu bar. Sorry if im slow i've only had the mac for about a month.

Here is YouTube's help page if you have no sound on YouTube videos:
Try re-installing Flash player. I'm assuming at this stage that all your other audio works fine, e.g. CDs, DVDs, system sounds, etc...

A shot in the dark, if your MBP has sound with iTunes and CDs, and none from the You Tube video, sometimes the video's have their own volume controls. Check for that and slide them to the right.
