"Windows did not detect any networking hardware"

Hi. My Macbook Pro is late 2011. I installed Bootcamp and a full version of Windows Home Premium.

Whenever I try to connect to the Internet via wireless or Ethernet, I get:

"Windows did not detect any networking hardware".

I can connect fine both ways in iOS, my Bootcamp Windows system is almost useless without Internet. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

...I installed Bootcamp...

Assuming you're on OSX Lion, did you download the Boot Camp drivers, as prompted by Boot Camp Assistant? If you did, then you need to install the Boot Camp drivers inside of Windows. (IOW, while booted to Windows.)

If you're running Snow Leopard, then while booted to Windows, insert the disk that came with your Mac and install the Boot Camp drivers.

Asatoran,

You were right, I had neglected to install the Boot Camp drivers, so I did that from the disk I made. Now I can't launch Internet Explorer (the shortcut doesn't work, and when I try to go to http://www.google.com/ from the Windows Explorer address bar, it goes nowhere.

Nothing to do but delete the partition and try again.

BTW, I live on an island (Kauai) with no Apple store, so I cannot take my new Apple in for help, so thanks for working with me.

Well, you could do the normal Windows troubleshooting. Any "exclamation marks" in Device Manager? (Meaning reinstall the drivers.) Then after, go to a command prompt and type IPCONFIG to see if you have a valid IP address. Then PING and TRACERT to confirm that you have a valid network connection to the internet.
