How do I update my Iphone 3 to iOS 5 with Icloud?

Is your other phone a 3GS? 3GS can get iOS 5, 3G can only go to 4.2.1
they are both 3GS?
Im not to sure of how to upgrade it on my other phone I believe they are both 3GS

Check the back of your iPhone what does it say next to Model, the Model number begins A....

You cannot removed the case, if you do you will damage the iPhone. If there is no model number written on the back of the CASE check Sertings>General>About>Model what does it say there.
