Printing on a DVD
Can iDVD be used to print a graphic onto the surface of a printable DVD or does anyone know the best way to do this? I have an Epson Artisan 730 which has a DVD tray but not sure the best way to position, etc. Thanks!

You need a printer that can handle CD/DVD disks and then an appliation that will do the same. Here in the US Epson seems to be the only printer that offers consumer CD printing printers - Epson Stylus Photo Printers - Epson America, Inc.
There are some other high end/expensive disk printers that print only on disks. The Epson is a standard inkjet printer that has a disc attackment.
The Epson comes with a printing application for printing on CDs. It has very limited design capability. I use Discus for printing on discs. It offers considerable design capability such as seen in these:

Thanks for your help Old Toad. I was able to get this to work with the software that came with the printer. It was actually really east to do and came out nice. I create the image in Photoshop and just brought it in as one image so didn't need to use the software for design. For some reason I thought it would be part of iDVD, though. Thanks! Alicia
