When I first downloaded "Curious George Goes to the Aquarium" and "Curious George Goes to the Beach" from the iBooks store, everything was great.  One day, however, all the pages went blank.  The covers were still in iBooks, but when I opened the books to read them to my daughter, nothing.  Oddly, another Curious George book was unaffected by this problem.


I deleted the books and redownloaded them from the iBooks store.  Same thing.  I deleted and redownloaded iBooks itself.  No dice.


I want my books back.  What should I do?

    Same problem with Curious George Goes to the Beach.  The Aquarium book works okay, but the beach book doesn't work on any of my iPad or my iPhone.  Any luck with this?

    I did find, for whatever it's worth, that if you go into iTunes, go to the iTunes Store and then click on your e-mail address in the upper right, under the search bar, there is a link to see your purchase history.  For each item purchased you can "Report a problem".  I don't know if they'll fix it but we might get a refund or something.

    I clicked the link in my order history for "Report a problem" and in less than 8 hrs Apple refunded my money for the book.  If you haven't already, I would do that just to get your money back.
