Q: Memory upgrade help

I have an early 2008 macbook with only 1gb of ram. I bought 2gbs but when I put in the two cards the computer won't boot. I can have one of the 512mb and one of the 1gb cards in and it boot just fine. So why won't it boot with the two 1gb cards?

Could be either bad RAM or incompatibly. Which exact model do you have? Memory chips change with almost every new model.

Also, have you tried the new chips one at a time?

The RAM may not be suitable or Defective...

It is important that you get the Correct, Matching RAM for your MacBook...
