I just installed itunes 10.5.3 but everytime I try to open it I get the following message: itunes.exe - application error the instruction at "0x07e20740" referenced memory at "0x07e20740". the memory could not be "written". What should I do to get rid of this bug so I can open itunes 10.5?

The instruction at 0x03e5F026 referenced memory at 0x00000034. The memory could not be "read"
I just upgraded to itunes 11 (11.0.1?). It gave the error below but it was memory at 0x00000008. So I completely uninstalled and re-downloaded. And now it errors on 0x00000034. I know both of these addresses are likely in machine registers that itunes shouldn't touch.
So re-installing didn't work. I'm stuck with no iTunes. Where can I download the old version?
i have same problem. my itune version is 11.01.12 and i have downloaded it from apple website. I am getting error messages like

I haven't found anything yet that will fix it.
I had the same issue and only one thing which seems to fix this issue is by stopping the ipod service

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
