Is it possible to close one window in Safari?

I currently have 3 open windows in Safari. Two windows are minimized. I was working in one Safari window when Safari froze. I do not want to force quit Safari (which would close all 3 windows) because I do not want to lose what I was working on in the two minimized windows. Is it possible to quit one window in Safari when frozen? Command W is not working. Is there a command I could use in the Terminal to close the specific problem Safari window?

I'm afraid not, but a suggestion would be to use tabbed browsing instead of separate windows. If you find you can't edit content on a page using tabs, click Close Tab from the Safari File menu. The other tabs stay open.

To avoid this from happening either using windows or tabs, go to your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache. Empty the cache after each session.

Or, back to the menu bar again, click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons, click Reset. That will help prevent Safari from freezing.
