I forgot my password iphone

I had to turn of my iPhone and when i was about to turn it back, i got a complete blackout and forgot my password. How do I restore my iPhone? Do I have to restore my iPhone on iTunes and loose everything such as games etc?

If I understand you, you have forgotten the passcode for the phone. The only alternative you have is to restore the phone on the computer that you normally sync the phone with iTunes. While it could cause a loss in some data, you will have the option to restore to your last backup. Anything since that last backup will be lost.

That is correct. If you have forgotten your passcode, you will have to restore the device to remove the passcode. You will need to follow the steps in this support document. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support


After the restore, you can restore your latest backup to the device, to help preserve your content. If you have no backup, then you will lose your content. The importance of regular backups, to minimize any content lost.
