I am programming in Processing and I need to use curly brackets, but there are none on the Macbook Pro keyboard.Processing doesn't have a special characters menu, so I'm looking for a keyboard shortcut or combination of keyboad strokes to add the brackets (both left and right brackets). Does anyone know how to do this?

I forgot to say it was a French key, but the blog gave me the idea to try alt ) which gave me the }. Thanks for your help.
On my US keyboard, they're in the upper right corner, on the same keys as [ and ], just below and to the left of the delete key. If you're not using a US keyboard, you'll need to say what keyboard you are using in order to get a better answer.

Hello, I'm from germany and on my apple keyboard I can use ALT+7 "{" and ALT+0 "}" for curly braces
On my swedish keyboard its alt+shift 7 or 8
Try alt+any key
or
alt+shift+any key
Then you get different charters
Hungarian keyboard:
AltGr+7 = {
AltGr+Shift+9 = }
