I have tried to paste a double-spaced Word document into an email (Mail). For readibility, and for compliance with the requirements of the receiver of the email, the pasted test must be double-spaced. When I paste or paste keeping format, the pasted text is single-spaced. I can't find anyway to double-space the text from within Mail. Any suggestions?

To dominic23. When I send an email to someone which has pasted text (from an original double spaced manuscript) is comes out as space between paragraphs but the lines of text within the paragraphs are single space. I see no way to adjust line spacing in Mail.
I have the exact opposite problem! When I paste single spaced text into Mail, it double spaces everything and I can't find any way to undo that formatting. Anyone have any ideas?
