What version of iTunes works with the ion Profile Pro USB turntable?

What version of iTunes works with the ion Profile Pro USB turntable?

I have tried versions 9.2.1 and version 9, and might have started with 10.5. I tried recording records off the Ion Profile Pro into my PC. I keep getting the message that I cannot access the library because I have a newer version of iTunes. Should I try again with version 7? Or is there a different version it will work with?

I couldnt' reach the Ion company because they were closed, and can't try again until Tuesday. Hoping to get an answer sooner than that so I can get going on my projects. Please help!

You probably just need to update theEZ Converter software that came with the ION-

Hm, I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing before I try, because I just bought the Ion brand new at a Radio Shack last month. Shouldn't the software I got with it be the newest? And do I have to uninstall the software that it came with before I can re-install it from the Ion website?

Not necessarily. It could have been sitting at that Radio Shack for months and months. The website I linked to said the newest version is v7.7. What version did you install?

I've seen posts about this before, the EZ Converter software & itunes software not keeping in step with each other.

So, probably best to wait and call the ION company and ask which version of itunes it is compatible with. Odd that they don't have it listed on their website!

How do I find out what version of the sofware is on my disk and computer?

(I don't want to wait to call the company if I can help it. I would have to wait half a week.)

Try checking ion's website for information on how to find out the version. Typically it is under a Help menu.

There should be a menu option to see the software version of EZ Converter. Usually it's Help > About for windows programs.

Their website didn't have any info that I could see about what version of their software went with what version of itunes.

If it was my PC I would go ahead and download their latest version and see if it worked!
