So after joing the Itunes Match program uploading my 5000 or so tunes to the cloud, My Apple TV will only play a max of 25 seconds of any tune stored on there. Worked ok yesterday but this morning not more the the 25 seconds. It works fine on my phone and macbook pro, all the tune gets streamed.
Any ideas? I have rebooted the Apple TV again, nothing..... Chris.
Same exact problem. Just got new ATV2 to replace old ATV to fully utilize iCloud. I get 20 seconds of every song, then I get 'iTunes is currently unavailable. Try again later.'. It's 20/20 with different songs, same result every time.
Hi Kengj, Glad in one way i am not on my own. I waiting for a call from Apple suuport in the next 20 minutes.

Looking forward to an update. I've already done reset and update, and double checked all connections such as Home Share, Computer, etc.
After an hour on the phone to apple support they think it is a server problem and want me to wait for a while to see if it resets. I did a complete restore but still no joy. At times it could not find any media at all! Eventually it found it but returned to playing only 20 seconds of any track. Before my MBP played iTunes match ok, but this now jumps 30 or so tracks before playing one, so something not quite right. More tests in the morning. He cleared the Apple TV by elimination etc. see what tomorrow brings.
So, Apple thinks it's their server problem or an ISP server problem? I am in exactly the same boat.
+1, same problem here. Worked fine yesterday (1/20/2012) but not this morning.
Same problem here. Worked well last week, started having problem yesterday. I was able to rent a movie on Itune store tonight so its does not looks like a connection problem. ICloud plays for about 20 secs and stops.
They think it is an apple server problem. Although nothing has shown up they are checking with the apple server guys.
Will check again today when I get back home to see if it has been solved.

I also have the same problem, and I noticed it yesterday, but then I hadn't used it the day before. So I am not sure exactly when it started. I have updated iTunes match in itunes, and everything seemed to be connecting and flowing good. Frustrating to say the least. Apple has spoiled me with things that, well, just work. Not used to having issues like this.
it is now two days later and still experiencing the exact same problem playing iTunes iCloud on Apple TV.

get the yello triangle with "itunes not available at this time please try again later"
every 9 min durring a tv show or movie from the itunes store
library works fine
netflix works fine
Same problem in the Netherlands.
