on my Windows PC i did remove itunes, because it was not running. Now i can not install itunes again, because setup can not remove the old version of apple software update.
Can anyone help ?

Go to control panel, add n remove programs, highlight Apple software update, and uninstall.

i already did it and got an error message. But in the meantime i found older blogs about those problems.
I choose the solution to download the windows installer clean up tool.
I just try to delete the entrees. It seems it works...
