I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer (driver - Apollo P-2100 - Gutenprint v5.2.3) and am running on Mac (OSx 10.6.8)
It WAS working but recently.... I changed the ink cartridges and it powers up with green light on. Once I try to send a job to the printer it quews up and looks like it is going to print but then the icon suddenly disappears from my desktop and it is cancels the printing???

Did you recently change the driver you are using? I don't see how a driver for the Apollo P-2100 will work with an Epson printer. I would suggest that you delete your printer and re-add it using the correct driver.

Thank you so much for your reply! I am not sure why that driver was working but it was. I am downloading the Epson driver that you suggested and hopefully this will work. I will kee you posted.
