I want to bookmark the beginning of a section and of a chapter, but the + is greyed in the bookmark box when the section title or chapter title is selected. Any idea how to fix this? Is this a bug, or is there a procedure I'm not aware of for doing it "correctly"?

It's likely a bug but at this stage you can't bookmark to a section or chapter - only text on a regular page. I'd be surprised if this isn't addressed in an early dot release.

A bit more info... it has nothing to do with the text style (Body, Section Title, etc.,) but rather with whether it's inline text or not. If it's just text inline, it can be bookmarked. But if it's in a box that's floating, or even in a box that's inline, it can't be bookmarked. Apple really does need to find a way around this. Anyone know a workaround?
I put a figure with a title on the chapter page (with a transparency of 0 so its not visible). The figure title can be a bookmark and a link within text, or a floating text box will link back to it. I set this up rather like a web page ...
BUT
the function works in iAuthor but not in the preview ....
What exactly constitutes a figure? Help suggests it's any widget, but that doesn't really make sense. Thanks in advance for your help.
OTOH, if it doesn't work in Preview, then that seems to defeat the purpose, right?
It doesn't work in Preview NOW, but with some prompting / bug reports etc I expect (hope) it will soon ... so I'm building it into my test book
Add an image and give it a title in the interaction/layout editor. The text here can be set as a bookmark and then linked to.
