Where did everything go??
Finally got everything transfered from my PC to my new Mac using an ethernet cable (still took 3.5 hours). But where is everything on my Mac? Trying to learn my Mac but am so frustrated. Thanks for your help

Use finder to search for it also if its a new Mac I would look for lots of data usage in files to look for it and it should be identical to we're it was located on the pc
don't see it there.... any other ideas?

While on that site, you'll be able to find many other support articles by entering Mac 101 or Lion...
And, to start with, if you will double click (or control click) on your hard drive icon on your desktop (should be in the upper right corner), you can get a window like this:
(I have mine set to view in column view); in any case, click on Applications, and you'll see a list of all your programs (applications). You'll also see your Users folder which has several sub folders. You can also add any program or folder in the User folder to your dock for immediate access.
