ATRAC files and iTunes

Hey folks,

My wife recently downloaded a bunch of ATRAC files that she won from Sony through their Sonic Stage service. We assumed that we'd be able to bring these into iTunes and then dump them onto her new iPod Nano. But iTunes will not recognize the files.

Is there any way to get these files into iTunes and onto her iPod without recompressing them into MP3s? She uses iTunes 6 on her Windows XP Dell laptop.
