Today I noticed a photo I don't recognize taken on December 26 2011 in my photostream. I am the only one with access to my devices. Has any one experienced or heard of occasional glitches with Icloud so that people's files get mixed up? I find this worrisome as I wouldn't my files to appear on someone else's device.

I have today discovered four photos in my photostream which have appeared in amongst my photos, which are ABSOLUTELY NOT MINE. They are of a child I don't know in their house with a family I don't know. This is a massive security issue and I want some answers from Apple. If I am getting other peoples photos then someone may be getting mine.

I large number of photos, over 250, just appeared today in my photo stream. They are of people we don't know, some kids taking pictures of themselves making weir faces. The image numbering doesn't match my iPhone, iPad, or any of my devices. I haven't lost any devices, so this is a big mistery. I'm an IT professional, and I haven't misplaced my ID, and I use an ultra-secure password.

Being an IT professional have you ever helped to settup someone else iPhone or iPad, by installing Apps from your account? In this case if you forgot to sign out from iCloud in Settings, the owner of this device at some moment maybe accidentaly enabled photostream and you have got his photos. Even more embarrassing that he is seeing your photostream 😟 .

I also have several strange photos that appeared in my iphone 4.0 camera roll for as long as I have the phone. I ignored the first incidence but unfortunately the frequency of these 'stray' pictures seems to be increasing now. One picture clearly shows a train station in China or Taiwan (no coordinates). The latest picture actually has GPS coordinates located in China. I have never been to China, never lost a device or let someone else use my phone or computer, no kids. I agree with EditorKate and think this could be a HUGE security issue. I am not sure what to do - delete all the apps?

The strange thing is that the first stray pictures appeared on my iphone long before icloud was first released. I have never used icloud and it has always been turned off on my iphone. I don't use any other photo software nor do I upload any pictures to the web. Yupp, I am probably the last person here without Facebook, Instagram, Flicker or other content sharing accounts.

This has just happened to me on both my iphone and ipad. However, not only was it the photos, but the notepad and contacts as well. Meaning my contacts disappeared and a strange contact appeared. Oh and a note appeared on my notepad warning me not to touch their ipad. This is very disturbing considering all o the personal information contained on both my iPhone and iPad. I'd guess this is an issue with icloud.

I have the same problem - iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.3...

7 random photo's added to my camera roll and photo stream. I've changed my password as a matter of formality but haven't been able to get a clear answer of what the **** is going on. Did anyone get to the bottom of this?

Checking that WhatsApp isn't somehow tho root of the problem... (as someone may have mentioned)

I can confirm that it was indeed WhatsApp that caused these photos to land in my camera roll. Even though I don't use it all that often, and despite silencing the group conversation that I got added to (as part of a dodgeball tournament that a friend set up), the photo's that some random person added were uploaded to my camera roll.

Hope this helps?
