Video plays then images stop at 15 mins but sound is fine

I am running the latest iTunes on my iMac and want to stream a film to my apple TV. The film plays fine for the first 15 mins then no video, sound is fine. I look at it on iTunes and the same error, yet it plays fine with VLC.

Any ideas please?
