I have tried everything I can find online to correct this. Nothing works and all I can find online is dated 2008. Surely Apple has found a cure for this problem by now. This happened with my hp Photosmart Premium c309a as well. I thought it was a printer problem but It's happening now with the 7510 that is only a week old. And please, if you have a cure, don't explain in high tech computer language. I'm ok with the computer but not that up on high tech stuff. Thanks.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

It is connected wirelessly. The other printer was connected with a USB. Getting it to print again---usually by just turning printer off and back on again. This usually results in getting 1 page printed. Then I have to do it again. I have deleted printer and reinstalled. I have changed IP from automatic to manual. I unplugged printer for a short time (1-2 minutes) and plugged back in. I have restarted both IMAC and printer after each process. This is really frustrating and time consuming, driving me nuts.

Thanks for the reply. Based on what you have said I would suggest you try resetting the printing system. This will take the core printing system back to "factory default", which may be enough to stop the pausing of the queue. Note that the reset does remove the printer queues from Print & Fax but does not remove the supporting drivers, so all you need to do after the reset is add the printer again in Print & Fax.
