Are app fees a one time or monthly charge?

The purchase of an app is a one time charge. Some apps have in-app purchases which incur additional charges. And some apps have recurring charges such as certain newspaper apps and magazine apps.

it depends on the app. I've only paid once for mine. Documents to go, angry birds, etc.

I would think the only ones that would have a monthly fee would be things like magazine subscriptions, where you pay for content on a monthly basis.

They are a one-time only charge. Some apps such as newspapers and magazines can have subscriptions, and some apps also allow in-app purchases for extra features/content (though you can prevent them via Settings > General >Restrictions > In-App Purchases).

apps are one time fees. the only ones that are monthly fees are newspapers, magazines and if you make an in app purchase for a service like a dating service.

Hi. This thread is 5 years old. I suggest you post a new question, with your exact problem. But the purchase price in the app store is always a one-time payment. In-app purchases may offer a subscription. They are described in the app store details for the app.
