Delete apps on iPad and iPod .

Hold the app down till a cross appears and then tap to cross and it's gone. Then press home button.

Tap and hold down on the app icon until it wiggles and an X will appear in the corner of the icon. Tap the X to delete the app. Tap the home button when you are done.

hold down the app and press the x then select yes some say after yes are you sure you will be removed from the score boards then select yes again

Hold any app for 3 seconds and they will start to shake. Tap the X in the top right corner of the app you would like to delete. Your iOS device will show a window asking if you are sure you want to delete the app and deleting the app will delete all its data tap "yes". If it is a game center compatable game it will also ask if you would like to remove it from game center. I recommend yes. If you payed for that app and would like to get it back, you can install it for free, fortunately.

Bear in mind, you can't delete the preinstalled apps. Those are on the device for life
