how to delete emails from PC and Ipad and Iphone at the same time?

I just got a new Iphone 4S, I own an Ipad and of course a computer Latop.

I would like to know how , if possible , when I delete an email message on Laptop , it is also gone from my Iphone and Ipad? so I don't have to sort and do it again on each Ipad and Iphone.

It would be nice if I would delete from any of them it would delete on all three . But my favorite would be to have to delete on the Laptop for it to be removed from Iphone & Ipad.

If your mail accounts are POP, you can't. If they are IMAP/Exchange, when you delete on one device, they will automatically be deleted from all devices. For example, I have 4 accounts on my iPad. All are accounts like Outlook (my work email) or Yahoo and all are either Exchange or IMAP and all mirror all devices at once.

Thank you . I, unfortunately, am new with technology, so I will need to check all this POP IMAP vocabulary with my Adult son ,and go from there with his help...I'll keep you posted.
