Why i cant slide to unlock?

maybe you need to press the home button twice. (i have the same problem when i am recieving a call{sometimes})

I can't slide to unlock? crash/frozen 😟 HELP APPLE????

Nobody from Apple on this discussion board, we're all end-users like you. Have you tried what Stellarass said? Had you tried a Reset? Have you tried a Hard Reset?

Sliding to unlock or answer calls when holding the phone with one hand has always been a pain . Unlocking has become easier since the software change inserting the camera icon, thus making the slide bar shorter and easier to slide.

But sliding to answer is still a real pain, often very difficult to do - the slide won't "catch" at the end requiring repeated slides. Why can't Apple shorten the slide bar (as they have done to unlock) making answering calls much easier? Or allowing an alternate way to answer -- e.g., double tap the screen, or double click the home button. All of this could easily be done when using one hand.
