Why can nobody hear me on my iPhone 4?!!

It has only just started happening.

I can record voice fine using voice memo but when i call out nobody can hear and no i am not pressing mute by accident.

The microphone and reciever are fine and i can hear people saying hello over and over but they cannot hear me.

My iphone is up to date on software and everything is fine with it except nobody can hear me.
