I recently updated my computer from Tiger to Snow leopard. When I am using safari, and I navigate to a PDF form instead of seeing the form I get a dark grey screenwhere the form should be. Why is this happening? I do have Adobe on my computer and I have no problem seeing it if I am not using safari. I havent tried it in firefox yet.

Quit Safari.
Go to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the PDF Browser plug-in to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari.
There is no PDF Browser plug-in to move to the trash.
Did you check your Home folder Library or root?
/Library is root.
Open a Finder window. Select MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Internet Plug-Ins folder.

What worked better for me was to simply uninstall Adobe Reader, and then reinstall Adobe Reader with the latest version 11.0.02. Everything worked perfectly after installing that version, and no need to remove any plug ins.
