Macbook Air becomes sluggish
I've had some intermittent issues with my new Macbook Air (bought it in December, 2011). Several times when I've woken it up from sleep, it has been incredibly slow and sluggish -- everything from clicking on a browser tab, to typing, to switching windows takes several seconds or longer. Shutting down takes a few minutes, and when it restarts, it takes 10 minutes, and is still super slow.
Both times this has happened, it seemed to resume normal speed after restarting it 3-4 times. Quite annoying when it takes 5-10 minutes each time to shut down and restart.
Not sure if it's temperature related (in both cases, I had either stored it at outisde temperatures in SF (so lie 45 or 50 degrees) before starting it up. Also, in both cases it had probably been on standby (i.e. I had closed the cover) for a day or more.
Has anybody else had this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix/avoid?
Thanks!
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
