TaneyI appreciate your time with me while I research our best next step to take from here. That almost sounds like maybe it's not the hardware or maybe you should get a replacement SIM card. Have you asked your carrier or replaced the SIM card for this issue?

TaneyI don't see any previous cases with us here for this iPhone, I wonder if I have the proper device here, unless you're referring to replacing them on your own and not through Apple.

We have a team here at Apple, who's entire job is dedicated to reviewing this feedback, and escalating it to the proper outlets (such as the engineers for iTunes, iPhone, iPad, etc.), so you can rest assured that your voice will be heard! The more feedback we receive about product features, the more likely we are to implement them!
TaneyIt sounds like you've tried so many things, I'm not sure what might be a different resolution for you and this crackling issue. Different phones, carriers, SIM cards, and probably all amounts of troubleshooting. Would you want to try some things here with me now?

Taneyit's only on cellular calls or do you experience the issue with anything else? If you toggle to speakerphone, does it continue with the call or become clear?
Me:issue only in ear receiver
Me:there is no issue in headphone or speaker phone
TaneySo if you switch to speaker during a call, there is no crackling noise? That sounds strange. That would normally point to a hardware concern, but that wouldn't make sense considering you've tried several different iPhones and all of the other troubleshooting.

TaneyIt doesn't sound like the devices are likely to be the reason for what you're experiencing. I wish there was an easier answer but I am reviewing your case with another advisor right now and we'll see what additional information we can find for you.
TaneyIt could even be related to the iPhone 4s.

TaneyPerhaps the technologies in your region/s are better suited for a newer iPhone model. I don't want to make promises but I would suggest visiting a carrier location and maybe trying a 5 or above and see if you still experience the issue.
TaneyThey can usually give you some kind of trade or other options for your 4s to get value towards upgrading.

JosephI understand that you’re having a lot of trouble with your iPhone 4S, even after multiple service replacements there is still trouble with the receiver, a crackling noise that has not been solved yet. Is that correct?

JosephThat is absolutely terrible to hear, especially after so many service attempts at this, this really is an unfortunate issue.
JosephI am thinking an upgrade could be possible for this, something to consider. Have you had an opportunity to test with newer iPhone models?

JosephHonestly, I think at this point, using a different model. One of our newer ones to see if your experience improves would be best.
JosephIt sounds like something is interfering with your conversations, a crackling noise like that isn’t normal at all. Testing without a case could help.
