Deleting backups

Hi,

I back up my Macbook once a week VIA Time Machine but when i go to About This Mac, More info, Storage. I see i still have 95gb of backups on by Macbook. I thought this should reduce everytime i back up and also i 54gb of other.

How do i delete the these back ups and what is the other made up off?

Thanks,

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 2 GHz Intel Core i7, 4 GB, 15 inch

those "backups" arelocal snapshots. The "other" category is just that, it contains things that can't be categorized in the more defined categories. Just think of it as an etc category.
