Q: Updated iTunes to 10.5, iTunes won't work now! Everytime I open iTunes it just freezes and I can't click on anything. It says to take it out of compatibility mode and still doesn't work! any help??

Thank you for getting back to me so quick. Unfortunately it didn't work. None of the boxes are checked and iTunes is still freezing when I open it. Not sure what the issue is. Thanks again.

I tried the link you provided. The only thing that seemed to work was I had to create a new user account on my computer. only problem with that was that iTunes is completely clear of all my songs.

Do you happen to know if I uninstall iTunes and then re-install it and then if I plug my ipod in my computer will it transfer all my songs back in??

Nope, didn't work. I don't get the compatibility pop-up but iTunes is still frozen when I open it. I can't click on anything. The only way to get out of it is to use Task Manager to end the process.
