Unless your processor is 867Mhz, Tiger is as far as you can go. If your processor is appropriate, you can look online for a retail (black face with a big X) copy of Leopard. You can't download it, you have to buy a disc.

I meant how to do it on os 9.2. And what do I do to find an update while on it, Internet or cd....
If you meet the requirements, you will have to buy a disc and then install it over Tiger. There is no way to do it over the Internet
Bondi blue was between 233 and 333 mhz, the furthest apple lets you take it is 10.3 panther when infact you can take it to 10.4 tiger. however 10.3 is the faster OS for the older tray loaders. if your taking it to 10.4 its usually for compatibility with wi-fi dongles etc.
you will need to source a 10.3 set of CD's that are installation and not reinstalation disks. they are black instead of grey. if you want to install tiger you still need to install upto between 10.0 and 10.3 1st before u can upgrade to 10.4 as the software that allows it does not function on 9.
But maybe i should ask, what are you wanting to achieve by upgrading to OS X? OS9 was by far the best for these old G3s, they just need more 'modern' software for browsing the net etc.
