ical calendar default settings

I have accidentally changed my ical to the arabic/islamic calendar and I can't remember how I did it or how to change it back to gregorian. Can anyone advise?

Janice,

Try System Preferences...>Language & Text>Formats>Calendar: Gregorian.

If its on a Mac ( computer) rather than iOS,

Open Calendar

Menu bar >preferences

Click the "general" button.

Very bottom option is : Show alternative calendar. If you check the box, you can choose from Hebrew, Chinese, Islamic.

Uncheck the box if you want none.

Done!
