I just bought a HP GX607AA 12MP Elite Webcam and the software is for Windows. What do I need to make it work?

I just bought an HP GX607AA 12MP Elite Webcam and the software on the disk provided is for Windows. I've read that it is "plug and play" for Mac OSX. What do I need to make it work? Any help is appreciated!

Mac OS X (10.6.8)

For any Mac OS after 10.4.8, your Mac OS and application software are all that is required to use any Mac-compatible webcam, so you don't need to add any software to your Mac.

As Keith suggests, plug it in and try it with Photo Booth.

If you want other camera functions than offered by the software already installed on your Mac, some other apps that can work with your webcam are show here: http://www.ralphjohns.co.uk/EZJim/EZJimpage7.html

Use the links there to check functions, cost, and system requirements of any that are of interest.
