Q: I just bought a HP GX607AA 12MP Elite Webcam and the software is for Windows. What do I need to make it work?

Jan 24, 2012 8:48 AMby EZ Jim,For any Mac OS after 10.4.8, your Mac OS and application software are all that is required to use any Mac-compatible webcam, so you don't need to add any software to your Mac.
As Keith suggests, plug it in and try it with Photo Booth.
