Jan 25, 2012 6:27 AM in response to LarryHNby Popfaux,The Fujifilm X 100 is supprted and may be suitable for the new camera X 10. My software is up to date. However, iPhoto will not import the Raw files, so presumably iPhoto only supports JPG files. Spotlight could not help me regarding Raw and I take it that processing Raw is not available.

Jan 25, 2012 6:46 AM in response to Popfauxby Terence Devlin,iPhoto imports and will process Raw files from supported cameras. So, iPhoto does support Raw, and supports exactly the same list of cameras that Aperture does. So, Raw processing is available.
The Fujifilm X 100 is supprted and may be suitable for the new camera X 10.
It's not suitable for the X 10. The Raw for each model of camera - note that's model not brand - is different.
iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback and ask for support to be added.

Jul 1, 2012 6:00 PM in response to Popfauxby amacioce,OK, here is the easiest way to get those files converted until there is RAW support. Download adobe dng converter (free from adobe) and convert the raw files to dng. Then download a program called snap converter from the apple store (.99) and covert them to jpegs. Once there in jpeg format you can import them to iPhoto. Hope this helps:)

Aug 13, 2012 11:43 PM in response to marciafrommaby Terence Devlin,You'll have to upgrade your System to OS 10.7.2 or later and upgrade your iPhoto to iPhoto 09 or later.

Aug 29, 2012 6:40 PM in response to Popfauxby jakeallstud,What you do is go up to Preferences and go over to the advanced tab. Once you are there then you need to check the box next to Use RAW when using external editor. That is how I imported my RAW files
-
Aug 29, 2012 8:34 PM in response to jakeallstudby LarryHN,That preference has nothing to do with importing. It simply passes RAW images to an external editor rather than passing a JPEG

Dec 7, 2012 1:03 AM in response to Popfauxby hansenhaugaard,i have got a Leica D-lux 6.
ok importing to Lightroom.
would prefer to import RAW to iPhoto. is that possible?
all software updated.
-
Dec 7, 2012 2:14 AM in response to hansenhaugaardby Terence Devlin,No, the Raw of the D-Lux 6 is not supported at this time.
iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback and request it.
In future, remember that Raw support is at OS level, so you need to tll us what version of the OS you have.
