What can I do with 3Mbps "high speed" internet?

OMG. I am moving soon to a more rural part in PA. I oredered 12 Mbps internet(their highest speed) and received an email this morning saying "unfortuantely 12 Mbps speed is not available in your selected area, however we are pleased to offer you 3Mbps internet speed!" I am hoping that this is fast enough to do most things I am accustomed to doing! Any input and feedback appreciated!
