is there a way to wall mount an iMac?

I would like to mount my iMac on the wall. Am I better off just putting any old monitor up on the wall and connecting with appleTV?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), moved to iCloud

You can mount the 27-inch iMac's on the wall by purchasing the VESA mount kit and the appropriate wall mount or swing arm. Whether that is the right thing to do depends on what you are trying to accomplish. For my purposes I mounted an HDTV on the wall and attached an Apple TV, Blu-Ray player, and a satellite connection and it meets my needs perfectly. I can't imagine using my 27-inch iMac while it's mounted to a wall unless it was simply to provide the flexibility to move it out of the way when I need more desk space for other projects.

Give us some more information about what you want to accomplish and I am sure others will jump in with their solutions.
