If you want to record a Webinar, you will probably need screen capture software. Every recent Mac comes with QuickTime Player X, which will do this. Just click FIle/New Screen Recording. Then click on the red button to start recording.

The start button has a pulldown next to it which allows you to record the audio using the internal mic. The quality won't be outstanding if the internal speakers are providing the sound for the webinar. You can use an external speaker positioned near your mac to improve the recorded sound for the webinar (specifically, external speakers are likely to deliver a richer, more natural sound).
