What OS are you currently running? The only update that Apple offers at the moment is iOS 5.0.1.

I think it must be iOS 4.2 but I'm not sure. I am trying to install an app that says I require iOS 4.3 to run it. Does that help?
4.3 is just the minimum iOS version that is required for the app. Apple only 'sign' the current version, so if you want to install the app then you'll need to update to iOS 5.0.1 - updating to iOS 5. You will need to be on iTunes 10.5+ on your computer.
Yes, very helpful. iOS 4.3 is the minimum requirement, but a more recent OS, in this case iOS 5.0.1, will also work.

Thanks again
Any time 🙂
