Q: is it possible to sell a textbook worldwide?

I want to sell textbooks in US from Turkey. Is it possible to sell a textbook to all countries?

    You might want to consider an app until the markets you need otherwise are open...that would let you build a brand and leverage your content to additional groups, etc.

    Probably not. There are many countries (like Singapore) where iBookstore is not available for paid books.

    I think the OP wants to know if he (based on Turkey) can sell books on the US store. I have two similar questions: I live in Brazil, can I sell books (written in English) on the US store? Can I sell them if they're written in Portuguese?

    In a related question, your link to the KB mentions that Brazil (and Turkey) allows free books. I have no idea on how long would it take to the Brazilian store to start selling books. I was thinking about releasing a free, "demo" version of the book for free (with limited content) until I can release the whole version, but then I worry about having to have to buy two ISBNs and copyright issues. Any ideas on that?
