How do you uninstall programs?

I had to download MAMP for school and now we no longer need it...I would like to remove it from my hd. Is it just as easy as dragging and dropping in the trash? I am used to Windows uninstall feature, so please forgive me if you think I am a moron! 😁

Dragging something to the trash will remove the application, so yes, but not any files related to it. Try an app like AppCleaner, (Free), online that can remove applications and all files related to it.

Anyways, dragging something to the trash is harm free and is a perfectly good way to uninstall something. If MAMP has an "uninstall" feature, try that. What is MAMP anyways? 🙂
