How do I FaceTime a iPad from an iPod

I have an iPod touch & my friend has an iPad I have no clue how to FaceTime her, I saved her email (apple I.d) & I tryed to call her but it says she is not available for FaceTime can anyone help

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

You need to know her FaceTime calling email addres just like you need to know a personse phone number. . The default is the Apple ID but you can go to Settings>FaceTime and add another email addreess and dlete the Apple ID email address.
