GeForce GTX 550 on Mac Pro?
Can I use this card on a Mac Pro? I'm not sure Apple ever supported it, so I have no idea where I might get the drivers, if they even exist. Can anyone help?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Unlikely. Try here:
Quadro 4000 $789 PNY Apple Mac Pro (Amazon)
Not sure about under 10.6.x, but I'm running one on my 2010 MP under 10.7.3. There are a few little quirks with it (VRAM isn't reported correctly in system profiler, and you need to pull a bit of voodoo to get OpenCL working), but yeah, if you go and grab the newest driver and CUDA driver from NVIDIA's site and load that up, you can use one of these out of the box. If you don't already have one and are looking to buy, I've heard that the 580s behave better "out of the box" but don't have one myself so can't confirm.
Amazon has GTX 580 $490 and 560 for $190 so quite a range in price/performance, and now nVivida new Kepler 680 could be in short supply around the corner for new high-end.
Glad the 550 works.
