Apple Care for MacBook Pro in Puerto Rico

I am from Puerto Rico and I want to buy an Apple Care service agreement for my MacBook Pro (early 2011). I can go to the purchase section and start the process but when I am selecting my billing address, I receive an error that it is not available in my region. I have until April 12, 2012 to buy it and I don't want to miss the opportunity to get the agreement. I can't find an email to try to get help from Apple on this matter and only the phone number to call, but I don't have the phone support. I know it is available world wide but Apple website do not allow me to buy it. Is there a way to get this warranty coverage extension?

There are some jurisdictions in which AppleCare can't legally be sold — Florida, for example. Puerto Rico may be another. If you manage to buy AppleCare somewhere else, I don't know whether or not the AppleCare agreement will be honored by an Apple Store or AASP located in Puerto Rico. You'd better find out before you spend the money somewhere else, if you plan to spend the next couple of years in P.R. Talk to the nearest Apple Store or AASP about this.

There are no Apple stores or AASP in PR. Around june 2011 I spoke to an Apple tech service representative and he told me that if there was any problem with my Macbook Pro I was going to have to send it to an Apple store in the continental US but I didn't ask about the Apple Care.

I know that Square Trade is not selling warranties to PR since last year. Does anyone knows for sure if Apple is selling to PR? I don't mind paying for shipping to send it to ths continental US.

AppleCare is not available in PR. For you to have AppleCare would require an address in the states:
