I have a good internet connection and I work both wirelessly and wired. The problem is that my hard drive has crashed, it has changed and formatted correctly. I would then try to install Snow Leopard, but then get the same message as when I install Lion. 'can groove get the extra components required two install mac os x ". I've made a DVD and a USB boot disk with the Lion, so everything should be fine. Everything is good until 5 minutes into the installation ....

Tell us the exact model of Mac and what were you trying to do?

Were you trying to revert to Snow Leopard or trying to install Snow Leopard on a Mac that came with Lion from the factory?

What happened that lead you to try to do what your doing?

We need more infomation as we work behind this text medium, so we only know what you tell us.

What sort of backup of your personal data do you have?

Details please. 🙂
