Well, I've succesfully imported my book intro the iBooksstore. Now I'm wondering, how long does it take for my book to be published in the iBookstore?

I uploaded my book last Friday, and Apple support told me that they were backlogged and it might take around 12 days (strangely, I didn't ask them how long it would take, but they decided to tell me that instead of answering the question I asked). Anyway, I expected it to have to wait awhile, but it was approved and appeared in the store by Monday morning. I did not receive an email notification that it was approved.
I'm afraid it hasn't appeared and status still says 'imported'. Strange isn't it?

On iTunes Connect? I had a red circle and it said "Not on 32 Stores", so I figured at that point I was just waiting for them to review it. On Monday, the circle was green and it said "On 32 Stores". I don't recall seeing anything about the success of my import, but I didn't have any error messages.
Where did you see the status? I only know by searching vendor ID in iTunes Producer, is there another place showing the status?
I didn't see this in Manage Your Books.

As an iOS App Developer, I've waited upto 4 weeks for App approval 🙂
For me, it appeared in Manage Your Books. On the first page you go to after clicking Manage Your Books, there is a Recent Activity box at the top, and the red/green circles were directly under the picture of my book's cover. I never looked at the status in iTunes Producer. Did you enter the pricing information for each country where you plan to sell the book? Is the book appearing in Manage Your Books at all? Or is it there, but with no status showing at all?
Well, the book is free, and it's pricing sais clear for sale so everything should be ok. I see the book in the manage your books, but without status i'm afraid..
