A scratch is a groove and the only way to hide it is to fill it, perhaps with a very fine hairline brush and a exact mix of metal sticking paint, fill the grove and then use a new-old style razor type blade to scrape off to level and then wipe off any residue/smears completely before it dries on the surface.

Tough to do, you might get away with using those car scratch touchup paint in gun metal gray.

You'll hide it perhaps with great skill, but it will always be there nagging at you. 😝

Stop looking at the botton! It is the screen that you want to be looking at.

The minute you opened the box you couldn't sell it for what you paid for it. It will get more scratches over time, that is if you actually use it.

If you are saying it had that scratch from the minute you took it out of the Apple box it came in then take it back and return it for another. That is if it isn't over 14 days old.
